Rachel Coulter, LMFT, PhD
Senior STRTP Consultant
Rachel has over 10 years of experience providing individual and group therapy to high risk populations such as at risk youth, dual diagnosis, complex trauma, infertility, SPED/ED in school settings, and adoption/foster youth. Rachel has extensive experience in management of community based mental health programs, Katie A programs, Crisis Stabilization Units, Therapeutic Behavior Services, Outpatient services, and the Assertive Community Treatment program. Additionally Rachel has served as Quality Assurance Director and has experience with county and state audits, policy and procedures implementation, and program implementation. Rachel currently is a LMFT and a Clinical Supervisor overseeing ACSW, AMFT, and APCC staff.
Rachel holds a BS in Psychology, MS in Counseling/Marriage, Family, Child Therapy along with a Masters in Psychology and a PhD in Human and Social Sciences. Rachel is currently trained in Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Focused CBT, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, Life Space Crisis Intervention, and CANS. Rachel has also been certified as a CANS Trainer and CSSRS trainer. Rachel also is involved in various community groups including Rotary, Central Valley Blue Star Moms, Fresno County Women’s Chamber of Commerce, Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity Scholarships/Grants Evaluator and Sisters Supporting Sisters Mental Health Advisory Board. In her spare time Rachel enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, hot yoga, and trying new restaurants.
